About this file
This document is an Amendment (Standard Form 30) for Solicitation 36C24126Q0044, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office for shredding services at the Providence VA Healthcare System. The amendment clarifies service frequencies and locations, specifying bi-weekly pickups for the main campus and Harwood Building, and monthly pickups for specific off-site locations and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Providence, Hyannis, New Bedford, and Middletown.
The shredding service contract involves multiple container sizes (32-gallon and 92-gallon) across various VA facilities, with specific quantities at each location. The amendment resolves previous discrepancies in the original solicitation regarding pickup frequencies, confirming that bi-weekly means twice per month. No changes were made to the submission due date, and the amendment was issued by Contracting Officer Jeffrey S. Fleming from the VA Boston Healthcare System.

1. B.2 Performance Work Statement at 2. General Requirements, a) states; “provide Bi-weekly shredding services for the Veterans Health Administration Providence Healthcare System. Shredding services for the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) will be provided on a monthly basis (every 4 weeks).”
B.3 Price Schedule contradicts the above statement indicating that only CLIN’s 0001 and 0002 locations as being serviced under the bi-weekly (26 week) frequency. Two locations listed as “Off-Site” at B.2 a) (623 Atwell Ave. Providence, RI & 75 Eagle St, Bldg. 6, Providence, RI) are being priced at a monthly frequency on B.3. They are not listed as a CBOC on page 5 but are given the same frequency? Please clarify.
