About this file
This special notice requests qualifications from firms for architect-engineer design services. The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a firm to provide design and construction support for fire protection improvements at VA medical centers in Connecticut, including replacement and upgrades of utility systems, reconfiguration, and modernization work. The estimated construction cost is between $10 million to $20 million. The contract is set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. Firms must submit Standard Form 330 by September 12, 2022 for evaluation based on criteria including specialized experience, professional qualifications, capacity, past performance, local knowledge, and experience with construction-period services. The three highest-rated firms will be invited to negotiate for the firm-fixed-price contract.
