RE: 523-22-4-7079-0069 Dirtt Walls
VA Brockton HBPC Shops_2Oct20.pdf Attachments:
Hi Kurt, Please advise vendors that the drawing has changed based on field conditions. To follow are my responses in ALL CAPS.
1. We're having a tough time with the quantities/math:
a. The drawing has 6 rooms circled (2) walls and (2) doors each = 12 doors, but the SOW identifies
14 doors, which would indicated 7 rooms. Also, the SOW identifies 2 quad data and power per room totaling 32 of each that's too many for the drawing. Can you clarify how many rooms it is and the date and power for each?
DRAWING HAS BEEN UPDATED ON FIELD CONDITIONS. PLEASE PROVIDE BID ON CURRENT
CONDITIONS. SEE RED-LINES FOR POWER/DATA NEEDED.
2. The SOW identifies specific rooms, but the drawing doesn't seem to have wall scope in some of those rooms (example: A-404A, B-422C don't appear to have DIRTT wall or any scope). Can you provide clarification?
GO BY CURRENT DRAWING WITH RED CIRCLES
3. Can the door hardware/locking requirements be provided?
ENGINEERING STANDARDS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Model: L9070
Location: Classroom
Keyway: T.E.
Pins: 7 pins
System A-2
Request: Pre-pinned Cores
Note: Need to contact lock shop
Cylinder/Stanley Security
#1E74C265RP3626
4. The spec doc indicates both painted and fabric finished tiles, which DIRTT will provide - but which finish goes where? PLEASE USE SIMILAR SPEC TO HBPC {SEE ATTACHED)
5. The spec doc indicates a Glass spec, we're thinking it's for the doors as glass doesn't appear to needed anywhere else. Can you confirm?
a. Also, a solid 4" door will perform better acoustically. Pricing is generally the same. NOISE CAN
BE AUDIBLE JUST NOT UNDERSTOOD-SAME AS HBPC
6. We reviewed and the DWG is different from the PDF. I also noticed the date on the DWG is older than the one on the PDF. Is there an updated DWG? GO BY CURRENT DRAWING
