· P. 4, 2, a). The quantity of containers for the 65 Eagle Street and One Corporate Place locations don’t match their respective CLINS 0004 and 0007. Could this please be clarified?

589 Atwells Avenue, Providence, RI 02909 – 1st and 2nd floors; Qty 5 75 One Corporate Place (West Main Road at Northgate Road), Middletown, RI 02842; Qty 3 Eagle Street, Building 6, Providence, RI 02909; Qty 3

· P. 5, 2, k). For items mentioned here that could possibly foul the mobile truck equipment or require special destruction, be destroyed off-site with a proper chain of custody?

k. Special pickups may be required during times of overflow conditions, annual destruction of documents, or other special projects. The Contractor shall remove the sensitive documents within seven days or less of receiving notification from the COR. Special pickup requests will be labeled (Special Pickup) and sent separate from regular scheduled pickups. Special pickups may be required throughout the life of the contract, these will be added through a bilateral modification to the contract.

ANY SPECIAL PICK-UP REQUESTS WILL BE FOR DOCUMENTS ONLY

· Accessibility

· For the main campus, are all containers in the main building? If not, how far apart are the buildings where service is needed?

No containers are spread amongst several buildings located at 830 Chalkstone.

See provided map

· For all locations, will any bins be located above/below the ground floor? If so, are freight

· elevators available to move bins to/from ground level?

In the main Building there is a freight elevator for the contractor to use. As far as the other buildings and eagle square there are at most 2 floors with ramps to the front doors, they will need to bring bags to dump the bins into and then carry out to their larger rolling bin.

The Eagle Square building that has the 3rd floor does have an elevator its tight and you can fit a tech and a rolling bin.

· Is there sufficient and appropriate parking for our truck at each location for the time it will take to perform the work?

No parking issues have been reported from current vendor Yes, we have a specific parking spot that we have them park at Eagle and the Main Campus, as far as the CBOCS they will have sufficient parking for their truck. They might not be able to park out front, but they will be able to park near the building.

· Please confirm that removing material for shredding in our rolling bins at each facility does not involve negotiating any steps.

At the main Campus location, only building 2,3 and 5 have no elevator to the second floor.

· Incumbent

· Is there a current contract for the work being solicited?

YES

· If so, please provide that awarded contract number or task order number (not the incumbent GSA contractor number).

36C24121P0610

· Please provide the name of the incumbent contractor and when the contract is ending.

SAFEGUARD DOCUMENT DESTRUCTION INC. 11/30/2021

· Please provide the annual contract amount.

· Is the level of effort being performed under the current contract fundamentally the same as what will be required to fulfill the new contract? If not, please explain how the work will be different under this solicitation, for example fewer locations, more bins, etc.
