** AMENDMENT A00001 – Fuel Testing and Polishing Emergency Generators – Contractor Questions and Government Responses **

Please confirm receipt of all Solicitation Amendments in your solicitation submission package

1. Please identify if the tanks are above ground tanks (AST) or underground tanks (UST) Answer:

All the tanks in Newington are underground except for the 350KW portable.

In West Haven all are above ground except the 12,000‐gal tank in Generator Building Two

2. What is the fuel level (by percentage of capacity) will the tanks typically be at for a cleaning evolution?

Answer: We typically have 80 to 90 % in all tanks

3. What is the typical access to each tank for a truck/trailer?

Answer: All Day Tanks and Main tanks are within 50 feet of the roadway or driveways
