About this file

This document contains questions from a potential vendor regarding solicitation number 36C10X22Q0051 from the Department of Veterans Affairs for a pest management membership and training program. The solicitation seeks a web-based pest management resource including training and an electronic field guide application to provide integrated pest management education across the Veterans Health Administration. The vendor requests an extension of the period of performance start date from the original proposal of less than 60 days to a minimum of 60 days to allow adequate development time for a custom website and application to meet the statement of work requirements. The government indicates a preference to have work begin sooner but does not provide a definitive response to the request.

Text version

Could the government please clarify the below question/answer: If a custom App and website is built from scratch to serve VA's SOW requirements then the successful offeror will need adequate time to develop both a robust site and App that VA will be very proud of. The Government will allow the vendor to choose the most advantageous method to meet the obligations outlined in the statement of works.

Could we respectfully request that VA please reconsider the POP start date? We respectfully request a minimum of 60 days per our website/App developer's request. The Government would like to have the POP start date occur sooner than 60 days
