About this file

This document is an RFQ (Request for Quote) Questions and Answers attachment for a VA Human Systems Integration (HSI) Participant Recruitment solicitation. The primary objective is to recruit up to 600 participants over a 12-month period, including employees/staff, veterans, caregivers, and survivors, to provide feedback on VA services and products. Key details include a contract anticipated to begin on or around September 1, 2025, with a five-year base period and four 1-year option years. The incumbent contractor was Perigean Technologies, LLC, and the solicitation emphasizes that no key personnel resumes are required for proposal submission.

The Q&A document clarifies several important aspects of the solicitation, including participant recruitment processes, study logistics, and administrative requirements. Notable points include: electronic incentives are permitted, studies will be introduced on a rolling basis throughout the performance period, the contractor is responsible for recruiting participants meeting specific screening criteria, and no existing participant database will be provided. The government will facilitate studies, while the contractor handles screening, recruiting, scheduling, technological assistance, note-taking, and participant reimbursement.
