This is a Sources Sought Notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Strategic Acquisition Center seeking industry feedback for Phase II of the Prosthetics Surgical Implants Next Generation (SING) program. The VA aims to expand its existing suite of 30 national contracts to include additional categories of prosthetics surgical implants, covering both biologics and non-biologics. The NAICS code is 339113 and PSC is 6515.

The VA is requesting information from manufacturers and distributors about their capability to supply products across multiple categories including women's health (intrauterine devices, breast implants), urinary, gastrointestinal, ophthalmology, surgical mesh, vascular implants, cardiology, cardiothoracic implants, dental, pain management, respiratory, craniofacial, and orthopedics. Responses must address organizational details, product categories, SKU quantities, FY22/23 VA sales data, and distribution partnerships. Interested parties must submit responses by February 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM ET to Brian Love and Kristin Campbell at the VA. The VA notes that a minimum sales threshold may be required for national contract consideration, though the specific amount is yet to be determined.

PROSTHETICS SURGICAL IMPLANTS NEXT GENERATION (SING) PROGRAM

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is looking to further expand upon its National Contracts program for Prosthetics Surgical Implants Next Generation (SING) to further expand coverage to other identified categories of implants that may not currently be serviced. The VA currently has established a suite of 30 contracts under its Phase 1 of the SING program.

The objective of this RFI is to further seek out interested vendors who may desire to establish a national contract under the Prosthetics SING program which will further expand coverage upon the current national contracts program with the intent to capture all Prosthetics surgical implants, inclusive of both Biologics and Non-Biologics, ensuring continuity of service and ease of access and ordering of supply while growing a robust supply chain of manufacturers and distributors inclusive of all prosthetics surgical implant categories.

Please note: The Government anticipates at this time that a yet to be determined dollar figure of sales, may be required at minimum for possible consideration of a national contract; industry comment and feedback regarding any potential discriminator(s) is encouraged and welcomed.
