About this file

This document is an Amendment (0001) to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for On-Site Reader Services at the Seattle VA Regional Office. The solicitation (36C10D25Q0169) is a new contract replacing the current incumbent contract 36C10D24P0178, specifically seeking Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) to provide reader services. Key requirements include vendor certification in the SBA SBS database, active SAM registration, and compliance with prevailing wage determination WD-2015-5539 for Pierce County.

The amendment includes critical vendor clarifications, notably that only VA-verified SDVOSBs will be considered for award, and vendors must have current certification by the quote submission deadline of August 25, 2025. The contract is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Benefits Administration Acquisition Directorate, with an effective date of August 13, 2025, and a performance period ending August 19, 2025. The amendment also provides a notice addressing potential discrepancies between SAM system representations and actual solicitation requirements, ensuring vendors understand the precise certification expectations.
