B. UV PRINTER FUNCTIONALITY
1. Description The UV printer is ideal for printing indoor and outdoor signage. With image area up to 36”x24” (91.44cm x 60.96cm), the UV printer utilizes dual LED lamps for instant ink curing.
The UV printer gives you the ability to:
· Print variable data and sequentially numbered items with independent color control.
· Build depth with layers of fast-drying, UV-cured ink.
· Create impressive displays that grab attention. This process is fast and renders strong, durable results.
· Print on media up to six inches (15.24cm) tall. Five ways to print intense, brilliant, pure white: Flood, White Active Pixels, White Inactive Pixels, White Spot Color, or No White (CMYK + WWWW).

III. Vendor/Contractor Furnished Items and Requirements
A. COMPETENCIES
The Contractor will have a thorough knowledge of the installation and full functionality of the UV Printer and be familiar with the printer’s system components and their installation, operation, repair, functionality, and market availability.
B. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
The Contractor shall provide and utilize on the job site any diagnostic equipment that will enable the Contractor to correctly install the UV Printer and printer components as outlined in the original manufacturer’s guidelines.
Unless specifically approved by the Contracting Officer, all material and equipment installed shall be new. In addition, they shall be the manufacturer’s latest field proven standard designs available at the time of delivery.
Delivery and installation site: To be given after award of contract IV. Specific Mandatory Tasks and Associated Deliveries Without additional expense to the Government, competent equipment manufacturer or personnel or an authorized representative shall:
· Give instructions for the care, adjustment, and operation of all parts of the system to the Veteran who is to have charge of the equipment and provide copies of the equipment information along with any other technical information.
· Be thoroughly familiar with all parts of the system and installation at the site and shall be trained in operating theory as well as in practical operation and maintenance work.
· Furnish instructions to the Veteran prior to officially releasing the equipment. This training must include the full operation of all newly installed equipment.
· Complete performance tests, upon completion of the installation, these tests shall be conducted on each piece of equipment and material required by the contract.
· Provide helpdesk points of contact/ telephone numbers of individuals that can be reached in the event of equipment malfunction or questions.
V. Special Conditions and Schedule for Deliverables The Contractor shall coordinate all on site work efforts with the Project Coordinators for installation and access to worksite.
The Contractor shall coordinate any technical questions regarding the installation of the equipment or its technical operation with the Veteran and Project Coordinators.
VI. Changes to the Statement of Work Once a task order is awarded, the requirements for the contractor shall not be changed in any way whatsoever by anyone other than the Contracting Officer (CO).
Making changes by any other means may require ratification of an unauthorized action requiring the approval of the Supervisory Contracting Officer (SCO).
