About this file

This is a Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Products and Commercial Services (Standard Form 1449) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center for relocation/moving services of Oracle Health Forward Deployed Solution Sets (FDSS). The solicitation (RFQ 36C10B25Q0329) is a sole-source acquisition for Oracle Health under NAICS code 484210, with a $34 million size standard, seeking white glove relocation services for Oracle Health data center equipment.

The contract includes a base period of 12 months with four 12-month option periods and a potential six-month extension. The government anticipates up to 5 FDSS moves per year in the base period, with an optional task allowing up to 60 moves per year. Pricing will be firm-fixed price, with moves to occur within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Guam. Relocation services will involve disconnecting, moving, and reconnecting sensitive data center equipment, typically involving two cabinets per site, with moves primarily scheduled on weekends to minimize operational disruption. The contract requires detailed coordination with VA Medical Center Facilities Management Service and Office of Information Technology, with strict security and privacy requirements.
