About this file

This document is a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for an on-call Region 2 Paving project. The project involves grinding and inlaying the northbound off-ramp at Interstate 5 exit 228 and OR 34. The anticipated work items include mobilization, temporary traffic control, pollution control, cold plane pavement removal, asphalt concrete paving, pavement marking, and other related tasks. ODOT has provided estimated quantities for the bid items and requires the work to be completed by June 30, 2023. Contractors must submit their bids by May 9, 2023, at 1:00 pm.

The RFB specifies that the work must be performed in accordance with ODOT's existing Price Agreement for on-call Region 2 Paving services. It also outlines project-specific requirements, such as the need to pay prevailing wage rates, lane closure restrictions, and the use of portable changeable message signs. Contractors must provide unit prices and total prices for the anticipated work items, and the contract will be awarded to the successful bidder by ODOT's Procurement Authority.
