About this file
This is a Request for Proposals document issued by the Mississippi Transportation Commission for voluntary group dental insurance coverage. The MTC is seeking proposals from qualified dental insurance providers to offer voluntary group dental insurance benefits to its employees. Proposals must be submitted to the Mississippi Transportation Commission offices located at 401 North West Street, Procurement Division, 5th Floor, Jackson, Mississippi, with a deadline of 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The solicitation seeks comprehensive dental insurance plans that can be offered on a voluntary basis to MTC employees, though specific details regarding employee population size, coverage options, and plan design requirements are contained within the full proposal specifications.
The solicitation does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, or incumbent provider information in the available summary documentation. Funding for the voluntary group dental insurance program will be derived from employee premium contributions and potentially employer contributions as determined by the MTC's benefits structure. Additional details regarding plan design requirements, eligibility criteria, claims processing procedures, and other operational specifications are expected to be detailed in the complete request for proposals document and any accompanying exhibits or addenda.
