About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to RFP 25-26-3242AM from Hanover County, Virginia for Web Page Design, Management and Maintenance Services. The addendum extends the proposal due date from January 6, 2025 to January 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM. The scope includes website redesign and support services for the County's Economic Development department, with work to be performed at 8200 Center Path Lane in Mechanicsville, VA. Remote work is allowed with some in-person consultation preferred but not required. The project requires WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, training for two staff members, and content migration from the existing WordPress site, though the County is open to other platforms.

The current incumbent is Whittington Consulting, who completed the last redesign in 2015 and charges $175/month for WordPress and plugin maintenance. The County currently uses integrations with GIS Planning/Zoom Prospector, VA Scan, and Google Translate. No specific budget is provided. Proposals can be submitted via email or through eVA (preferred), and vendors must be registered with eVA to be awarded a contract. Work cannot be performed outside the US. Pricing should be broken out according to Section 3.2.I of the RFP, with separate pricing for content migration, and can be submitted in Excel format.
