About this file
The document is a comprehensive Construction Documents Project Manual for the Token Creek Park Storage Building, issued by the Dane County Department of Administration Public Works Engineering Division in Wisconsin. The project involves constructing a 30-foot by 50-foot post-framed metal storage building located at 6200 Williamsburg Way, DeForest, with associated electrical and plumbing work. Sealed bids (RFB No. 324058) will be received electronically until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025. The storage building will be situated in Token Creek County Park and includes a garage area, storage spaces, and supplies rooms, with specific design requirements for structural integrity, electrical systems, and plumbing infrastructure.
The project is funded by Dane County and includes provisions for emerging small business participation, with a 10% goal for small business involvement in the construction. The contract requires compliance with Wisconsin state building codes, environmental regulations, and specific technical specifications for materials and construction methods. Bidders must provide detailed documentation, including a comprehensive waste management plan, and demonstrate capability to complete the project within specified timeframes. The project includes alternates for additional concrete pavement, asphalt base, and an open-air lean-to structure with associated fencing. The total project scope suggests a budget in the range of several hundred thousand dollars, with specific funding coming from Dane County's public works capital improvement budget.
