About this file

The document is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the New Albany School District (NASD) in Mississippi for Advanced Manufacturing Training Equipment, Software Curriculum, Training, Installation, and Shipping, identified as RFP #25-016. The district is seeking to procure a comprehensive advanced manufacturing training system, including multiple learning systems such as AC/DC Electrical, Basic Hydraulics, Applied Electrical Control, Mechanical Fabrication, Basic Pneumatic, and associated equipment like mobile technology workstations and hand tool packages. The RFP specifies quantities for each system, with most items requiring 2-3 units. The proposal submission deadline is June 20, 2025, at 9:30 AM CST, with a reverse auction scheduled for the same day between 9-9:30 AM CST, which can be attended in-person or virtually via Microsoft Teams.

The RFP includes detailed technical specifications for each learning system, emphasizing skill-based, industry-relevant training modules with interactive multimedia content, comprehensive student curricula, and instructor assessment guides. Each system is designed to prepare students for specific certifications, such as SACA (South African Comprehensive Assessment) Certification Testing. The district has a budget in mind and reserves the right to reduce or eliminate line item quantities to remain within budget. Vendors must bid on the entire RFP package and cannot submit partial bids. All bids must include installation, training, and shipping. Proposals can be submitted by mail/hand-delivery to the specified address or during the reverse auction, with a dedicated Google Document and live bidding reverse auction site available for vendor questions and bid submissions.
