This is a Truth in Negotiation Certification document required by the Florida Department of Transportation for professional services contracts exceeding the Category Four threshold established under Florida Statutes Section 287.017. The certification applies to the TLH FAA Tech Ops Building project, a general contracting and construction services initiative for the City of Tallahassee. The project involves the construction of a 2,552 square foot metal building and associated site work at Tallahassee International Airport. The consultant or contractor executing this certificate must submit it with the Technical Proposal as specified in the contract advertisement.
The Consultant certifies that all wage rates and factual unit costs supporting project compensation are accurate, complete, and current at the time of contracting. The Department reserves the right to adjust the original agreement price and any additions to exclude significant sums attributable to inaccurate, incomplete, or noncurrent wage rates and other factual unit costs. Any such adjustments must be made within one year following the end of the contract, with the contract end date defined as the later of final billing or Department acceptance of the work. The certification requires the consultant or contractor to sign and date the document prior to submission.
