About this file
The document is a Request for Proposals (RFP) 2025-149 issued by the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, seeking qualified contractors to furnish and install standing and ADA-compliant writing tables across multiple courthouses throughout Los Angeles County. The project involves providing 66 sets of writing tables (including 2 ADA tables) to be installed in specific locations at 34 different courthouses, including areas such as clerk's offices, public lobbies, and corridors. The RFP timeline indicates the proposal due date is to be determined on the Bonfire procurement website, with estimated proposal evaluations from 11/17/2025 to 12/5/2025, a Notice of Intent to Award estimated for 12/8/2025, and the start date of services to be determined. The tables must meet specific requirements, including ADA compliance, matching existing public seating finishes, and having leveling feet for stability.
The evaluation of proposals will be based on a weighted scoring system, with 25% for experience on similar assignments, 35% for the quality of the work plan, 30% for cost, 7% for personnel credentials, and 3% for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) status. Proposers must have at least ten consecutive years of documented experience in similar services and will be required to provide insurance coverage, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, and builders risk/installation. The installation must be completed after-hours (between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.) to minimize court proceedings disruption, with the vendor responsible for delivery, installation, and potential adjustments to existing furniture. The work will be warranted for 12 months, and the Court reserves the right to award multiple contracts to different vendors.
