About this file

This document is a comprehensive Invitation for Bid (IFB 24-13) submission form containing three attachments related to transportation services for a college or university. The procurement involves charter bus transportation services, requiring a minimum 24-passenger coach with specific equipment specifications including a serviceable lavatory, DVD player, storage space, and climate control. The contract mandates the vendor provide drivers, maintain buses in presentable condition, respond to mechanical failures, accommodate last-minute trip changes, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations including Vehicle and Traffic Law Article 19-A.

The bid requires vendors to submit detailed documentation including references from similar-sized organizations, a list of owned and leased buses with inspection and maintenance records, and a comprehensive contingency plan for potential bus breakdowns. The contract emphasizes driver professionalism, safety standards, and operational flexibility, with provisions for the college to request driver replacement and cancel trips up to one hour before departure without penalty. Vendors must also demonstrate capability to handle additional trips like tournaments and scrimmages, provide meal stops, and maintain emergency communication capabilities through driver cell phones. The attachments include forms for references, subcontractor information, and mandatory requirement submissions.
