About this file

This is a Scope of Work document for the State of Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands, issued through the State of Utah Division of Purchasing for contract opportunity AS27-112 Wetland Plant Supply. The procurement seeks to establish a single contract for the supply of various native wetland materials to support state land and resource management objectives. The contract term is five years, with vendors required to guarantee pricing for a minimum of one year. The IFB anticipates award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible bidder, with specific deliverables and material specifications detailed within the scope to ensure compliance with Utah's wetland restoration and management standards.

The procurement follows a competitive bidding process with award anticipated to a single vendor offering the most economical proposal. Vendors must demonstrate responsibility and responsiveness to all stated requirements, including the ability to supply native wetland plant materials consistent with state specifications and timelines. Pricing guarantees for the initial contract year provide cost stability for budget planning purposes, while the five-year term allows for long-term supplier relationships and potential cost efficiencies through volume commitments. Additional terms regarding delivery schedules, quality standards, and performance requirements are specified within the detailed scope of work to ensure successful fulfillment of the state's wetland resource needs.
