About this file

This is an anti-boycott certification statement required by Williamson County, Texas for contractors seeking to conduct business with the county. The document establishes compliance requirements under Texas Government Code sections 2271.001 and 2274.002, which prohibit companies from boycotting Israel or energy companies during the contract term. Additionally, contractors must certify they do not discriminate against firearm entities or firearm trade associations. The certification applies to Williamson County's Invitation for Bid 26IFB9 for the purchase and delivery of Asphalt Emulsions and Frictional Asphaltic Surface Preservation Treatment in accordance with Texas Department of Transportation specifications.

Contractors must affirmatively certify compliance with all three anti-boycott provisions or document exemptions based on business size or contract value. Exemptions are available for sole proprietors, companies with fewer than ten full-time employees, or contracts valued below $100,000. The document requires signature and printed identification of an authorized company representative. Failure to provide the required certification or exemption documentation may result in the company being ineligible for contract award with Williamson County.
