About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for on-call Land Surveying services. Caltrans is seeking qualified firms to perform land surveying work within the limits of Caltrans District 10. The RFQ specifies that the same staff member can fill both the Task Order Manager and Task Order Lead Person roles, provided they meet the requirements listed in the RFQ. The estimated contract amount is $1,600,000 to $2,400,000 with a three-year term. A 23% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal is required for this contract.
The Addendum also clarifies that Caltrans does not have a plan holders list or a way to identify companies that may have downloaded the project documents for teaming purposes. It is the responsibility of the consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to identify potential teaming partners. The Addendum further states that all other terms and conditions of the original RFQ remain unchanged.

ADDENDUM NO. 2
A&E On-Call Land surveying Services
The purpose of this Addendum is for the Department to respond to the consultant’s concerns.
Question1:
Can the same staff member fill both roles of Task Order Manager and Task Order Lead Person, or do these roles need to be filled by separate personnel?
Department Response:
Yes, the same person can have two different titles on the SOQ. However, they must meet the requirements listed in the RFQ.
Each task order will specify if the Task Order Manager and Task Order Lead Person can be the same person or if separate staff are required.
All other terms and conditions of the original RFQ Notice dated April 8, 2024, are unchanged.
