About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for on-call Land Surveying services. The purpose of this Addendum is to provide a response to a question received and to clarify the Consultant Contract Manager experience requirements. Specifically, the Addendum states that the Consultant Contract Manager must have a minimum of five (5) years of responsible experience performing the duties as a contract manager for similar Land Surveying Services contracts, and a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Land Surveying Services work. This experience must be detailed in the resume submitted as part of the Statement of Qualifications. The RFQ has a 23% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal participation requirement, and the estimated contract amount is between $1,600,000 and $2,400,000 over a three-year term.
The related state and local contract opportunity involves Caltrans soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide on-call Land Surveying services within the limits of Caltrans District 10. The work will be performed on an on-call basis, with specific locations identified in each Task Order. Interested firms must submit their SOQs electronically, and the Department does not have a plan holders list or a way to identify companies that may have downloaded the project documents for teaming purposes.
