About this file
This document is a set of procurement portal instructions issued by the City of Charlotte Water, providing detailed guidance for vendors participating in the city's electronic bidding process. The instructions outline the requirements for submitting questions and proposals through the Bonfire online procurement portal (https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com), with specific technical requirements including compatible web browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) and necessary settings like enabled JavaScript and cookies. Vendors are strongly advised to begin the upload process ideally one week before the project's submission deadline to accommodate potential file size and internet connection variations.
Technical support for the procurement portal is available through Bonfire's help forum (https://vendorsupport.gobonfire.com/hc/en-us), with direct contact options including email (Support@GoBonfire.com) and phone (1-800-354-8010). The document also recommends a five-minute training video to help vendors understand the registration and submission process. All solicitation questions must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Discussions section of the respective project, and submissions must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the posted project due date.
