About this file

This is a Small Business Subcontracting Plan form required for proposal submission to George Mason University in Virginia for the Retail Store Management and Operations contract, which encompasses operation and management of the university bookstore, eCommerce site, Mason Square regional campus bookstore, athletics in-venue locations, and athletics eCommerce site.

Offerors must complete this attachment to be considered responsive and are required to disclose any portions of the contract that will be subcontracted. The form requires offerors to indicate whether they plan to complete all work independently or utilize subcontractors. If the offeror is certified by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD) as a micro or small business, they must provide their certification number and certification date in Section A. For offerors planning to use subcontractors, Section B requires detailed information for up to five subcontracts, including company name, DSBSD certification number, certification type, contact information, contract value or percentage for the initial term, and description of work to be performed. The document emphasizes that any proposed participation with small businesses—including DSBSD-certified women-owned, minority-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses—will be incorporated as contract requirements, and failure to meet proposed participation dollar values or percentages may result in breach of contract.
