About this file
This is an Information for Proposals document prepared by the City of St. George, Utah, for a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified contractors to provide temporary air traffic control tower (ATCT) services and associated air traffic control operations at St. George Regional Airport (SGU). The RFP requests comprehensive proposals that address the establishment and operation of a temporary air traffic control tower facility, including staffing, equipment, and all necessary air traffic control services to maintain safe airport operations. Prospective bidders are required to submit detailed proposals that demonstrate their qualifications, experience with air traffic control operations, and capability to meet the airport's operational requirements. The document specifies proposal submission procedures, evaluation criteria, and the City's right to reject any or all proposals without obligation.
The City of St. George makes no commitment to award a contract or to reimburse any costs incurred by bidders in proposal preparation or presentation. Prospective contractors should carefully review all proposal requirements, specifications, and conditions outlined in the RFP materials prior to submission. The document establishes the framework for competitive bidding and outlines the process by which the City will evaluate proposals based on stated criteria, which typically include contractor qualifications, proposed operational methodologies, staffing expertise, safety compliance measures, and pricing structures. Additional details regarding specific evaluation weighting, pricing requirements, technical specifications, and contractual terms would be contained in the complete RFP package.
