3-2026 02 10 Hay cutting area 2.pdf

This file is a geographic information map document prepared by the Virginia Geographic Information Network (VGIN) depicting Area 2 of a hay cutting zone, which corresponds to a solicitation issued by the Economic Development Authority of Botetourt County, Virginia. The map identifies a specific geographic area in the Greenfield location bounded by International Parkway, Orchard Lake Drive, Fairview Drive, West Center Drive, and Shooting Star Way, with various parcel numbers and measurements noted. The solicitation requests bids from individuals or entities interested in leasing land in the Greenfield area for the purpose of cutting hay, with all comments and questions due no later than March 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EST. Botetourt County, on behalf of the County and the EDA, seeks either compensation for the hay or, at a minimum, a low or no-cost mowing arrangement.

The map document serves as a supporting exhibit to define the physical location and boundaries of the leasehold area subject to the hay cutting solicitation. No specific pricing terms, contract duration, or renewal options are detailed within the map itself. The solicitation indicates that the county intends to receive compensation for the hay harvested or obtain mowing services at minimal or no cost, suggesting a revenue-generating or cost-neutral arrangement for the jurisdiction. This procurement opportunity is open to qualified bidders with no apparent set-asides or incumbent protections noted, and the deadline for inquiries establishes March 24, 2026, as the cutoff for submitting questions regarding the solicitation terms.
