The court is seeking a qualified vendor to manage and operate the food service facility, providing a variety of hot and cold food items, hot and cold beverages, and both premade and on-site prepared food options with fair and reasonable pricing. Proposers must have at least five consecutive years of documented experience in providing similar food service operations. The RFP process is fully electronic through the Court's Online Procurement Website at https://lacourt.bonfirehub.com/. All proposers must complete and submit required forms, including a Vendor Information Questionnaire and proof of required insurance coverage (Workers Compensation/Employer's Liability, Commercial General Liability at $1 million per occurrence and $2 million annual aggregate, and Commercial Automobile Liability). The vendor is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary business licenses, Los Angeles County Public Health Permits, and insurance prior to commencing operations; the Judicial Council will not incur any costs to bring the facility up to code. Evaluation criteria include Experience on Similar Assignments (30%), Quality of Work Plan Submitted (37%), Proposed Menu and Pricing (30%), and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise preference (3%). The court reserves the right to award multiple contracts to more than one vendor and may invite capable vendors to participate in future RFPs for other courthouse locations, including the Chatsworth Courthouse and other Los Angeles County Superior Court facilities.
