About this file

This Invitation for Bids (IFB 2026-005) is issued by the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, for preventative maintenance services on a Kluge EHD 14x22 Press Machine located at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles. The Court seeks a qualified vendor to provide two regular inspections annually, technical telephone support, labor and travel, thorough machine inspection, cleaning and lubrication of essential parts, replacement of necessary Court-approved parts, and a complete performance evaluation with yearly summary reports. The scope also includes emergency repair services scheduled within one business day of request and within a reasonable timeframe agreed upon by both parties. The bid submission deadline, question deadline, and bid evaluation timeline are listed as specific dates to be confirmed on Bonfire, the Court's online procurement platform. The estimated Notice of Intent to Award is May 2026, with an expected service commencement date of July 1, 2026. The contractor must be capable of commencing services within thirty days of the Effective Date.

Vendors must submit all-inclusive pricing through the Bonfire electronic procurement system and include any applicable annual rate escalations, excluding sales tax. Minimum requirements include submission by the bid due date, procurement of Workers' Compensation/Employer's Liability insurance, Commercial General Liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million annual aggregate, and Commercial Automobile Liability insurance. Vendors must complete the Capabilities Questionnaire and all required forms on Bonfire; a "No" response to any questionnaire question results in disqualification. The Court offers a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) preference that reduces qualifying bids by 3% of the lowest responsible bid, not to exceed $5,000, for evaluation purposes only. Vendors must disclose any use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in their services or deliverables that materially impact Court system functionality, risk, or contract performance, with failure to disclose potentially resulting in disqualification. The Court reserves the right to award multiple contracts to different vendors with no minimum procurement obligation under any awarded contract.
