About this file
This is a delivery schedule memorandum from the Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Coleman, Florida, outlining four distinct delivery schedules for vendors who have been awarded contracts for food service supplies during the second quarter (January 1 – March 31, 2026). Schedule #1 requires a single shipment delivery between January 2-15, 2026. Schedule #2 splits the order into two equal shipments, with the first half delivered January 2-15, 2026, and the second half delivered February 2-17, 2026. Schedule #3 divides the total quantity into three equal shipments delivered across three months: January 2-15, February 2-17, and March 2-16, 2026. Schedule #4 requires weekly deliveries split into 13 shipments, with deliveries occurring each Monday-Tuesday starting January 5, 2026, and concluding by March 31, 2026, with specific requirements that produce be delivered Monday in full and bread, milk, and eggs be delivered Tuesday. All deliveries must occur between 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM (or 2:30 PM on Monday-Friday for Schedule #4), with no deliveries permitted on weekends or federal holidays (New Year's Day, MLK Day, and President's Day).
All vendors must comply with strict requirements including palletized and wrapped deliveries, temperature maintenance for perishables (34-40 degrees F) and frozen items (0 degrees F or below), and conditional receipt provisions allowing three days for examination and testing. Non-compliance with delivery schedules, temperature specifications, or item specifications will be documented as performance issues and may result in order rejection or re-award to the next lowest bidder, with performance history considered in future contract awards. Rejected items conditionally received and found unacceptable must be picked up by the vendor at their expense within two weeks or will be disposed by FCC Coleman. The Food Service Warehouse contact number is 352-689-3050/3052/3165/3051/3056, and all inquiries should be directed to Angel Metcalf, Food Service Administrator, at ametcalf@bop.gov. Invoices must be mailed or emailed; faxed invoices are not acceptable.
