About this file
The document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Old Colony Beach Club Association for the Miami Beach Sewers and Association Improvements Project in Old Lyme, Connecticut, with solicitation number 27503. The comprehensive infrastructure project involves constructing 19,500 linear feet of gravity sewer mains and lateral services, 350 linear feet of horizontal directional drilling, and 6,705 linear feet of storm drainage. The scope includes restoration of unpaved areas, temporary trench repair, and reconstruction of Association roads. The solicitation is open to all vendors, with bids to be submitted on a unit price basis between January 16, 2025, at 7:00 AM EST and February 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST. The project features six bid alternates: public well protection measures, no well protection measures, helical piles and support system, permanent trench repair, mill and overlay, and cold reclaimed subbase with 4-inch HMA pavement.
Contract documents are available for free download from Project Dog (www.projectdog.com) using Project Code 866355. The procurement is structured as a single prime contract with Free On Board Destination delivery terms and vendor-specified payment terms. Technical inquiries should be directed to Meg Allen, EIT at Fuss and O'Neill in Hartford, Connecticut. While no specific budget range is provided, the project's comprehensive infrastructure scope suggests a significant municipal investment aimed at enhancing community infrastructure and services in the Old Lyme area. The solicitation does not indicate specific set-asides, incumbent vendors, or explicit funding sources, focusing instead on the technical requirements and execution of the infrastructure improvements.
