About this file

The document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Miami Beach Sewers and Association Improvements Project, issued by the Old Colony Beach Club Association in Old Lyme, Connecticut, with solicitation number 27503. The project encompasses comprehensive infrastructure improvements, including constructing 19,500 linear feet of gravity sewer mains and lateral services, 350 linear feet of horizontal directional drilling, and 6,705 linear feet of storm drainage. The scope involves restoration of unpaved areas, temporary and permanent trench repair, and reconstruction of Association roads. The solicitation is open to all vendors and features six bid alternates: public and no well protection measures, helical piles and support system, permanent trench repair, mill and overlay, and cold reclaimed subbase with 4-inch HMA pavement. The bid period runs from January 16, 2025, at 7:00 AM EST to February 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST, with contract documents available for free download through Project Dog using Project Code 866355.

The contract will be awarded as a single prime contract on a unit price basis, with delivery terms set as Free On Board Destination and payment terms specified by the vendor. No specific budget range or estimated total project value is provided, but the comprehensive infrastructure scope suggests a significant municipal investment. Technical inquiries should be directed to Meg Allen, EIT at Fuss and O'Neill in Hartford, Connecticut. The project appears to be a localized infrastructure improvement initiative aimed at enhancing community services in Old Lyme, with no explicit mentions of set-asides, incumbent vendors, or specific funding sources. Potential bidders must demonstrate technical capability and engineering expertise to execute this multifaceted municipal infrastructure project within the specified parameters.
