About this file
This is a Product Description document for a federal procurement of five (5) Yorkie PRO Cell Phone Detectors manufactured by Berkeley Varitronics Systems (part number 0060-YORKPRO). The device is a portable electronic detection system designed for use in secure environments processing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and classified data, particularly within naval facilities involved in maintenance, modernization, and repair of advanced vessels and combat/communication/engineering systems. The Yorkie PRO detects active cellular phone signals (4G-LTE, 5G), Wi-Fi signals (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz), Bluetooth signals, and GPS tracker signals through passive sweeping without interfering with authorized communications.
The minimum technical specifications require a frequency range of 600 MHz to 3800 MHz with detection ranges of at least 150 feet indoors (line of sight) and up to 0.5 miles outdoors; receiver sensitivity of -90 dBm or better; 70 dB minimum dynamic range; and selectivity rejection better than 40 dB. The handheld device must have a maximum footprint of 5.5" x 3.0" x 1.25", feature a minimum 2.4" sunlight-readable color TFT touchscreen display, include silent vibrating alerts and top-mounted LED indicators, and operate on a built-in rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery providing 3–4 hours of continuous operation with an AC-powered charging dock included. Procurement includes all necessary accessories such as charging cables and protective carrying case. Required delivery date is 8/15/26 to ATTN: Ryan Swanson, SWRMC IT DIVISION, 3985 Cummings Road, Bldg. 116, 1st Floor, San Diego, CA 92136. Packaging must include an itemized material listing of all shipped items.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Procurement of Yorkie PRO Cell Phone Detector
The Yorkie PRO Cell Phone Detector is a portable electronic detection system intended for use in secure environments where unauthorized wireless transmissions present a security risk. It is designed to detect active cell phones, hidden GPS trackers, and unauthorized Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals.
The device supports operations conducted in areas that process Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and classified data, including environments associated with the maintenance, modernization, and repair of advanced naval vessels and related combat, communication, and engineering systems. In these settings, the presence of miniaturized personal electronic devices (PEDs) and wireless transmitters can create vulnerabilities that are not fully mitigated through procedural controls alone, such as policy enforcement or device drop-boxes.
The Yorkie PRO provides a portable, high-sensitivity capability for active sweeping and monitoring of secure spaces to identify unauthorized RF emissions. Procurement consists of five (5) Yorkie PRO cell phone detectors with accessories to support security requirements in sensitive operational
