About this file

This is a Statement of Qualifications (SFQ) document for solicitation 26CS0010 issued by the State of California for Weed Abatement Services. The solicitation is restricted to California Department of General Services (DGS) certified small businesses only. The document outlines the qualification requirements and selection process for vendors seeking to provide weed abatement services to the state. Prospective bidders must submit statements of qualifications demonstrating their experience, capability, and resources to perform weed abatement work. The SFQ process allows the state to pre-qualify vendors based on their demonstrated qualifications before proceeding to a formal competitive bidding phase for specific projects or task orders.

The solicitation establishes evaluation criteria for assessing bidder qualifications, which typically include relevant project experience, staffing expertise, equipment and resources, safety records, and financial stability. As a small business set-aside, only firms certified as small businesses by California DGS are eligible to compete. The qualification-based selection process allows the state to establish a pool of pre-qualified contractors who can be called upon for weed abatement services on an as-needed basis, potentially through master service agreements or individual task orders. Interested small business vendors must carefully review all qualification requirements and submit complete documentation to be considered for this opportunity.
