About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details requirements for technical engineering support services for the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) SP202 contract starting in FY2026. The work spans systems engineering, analysis, and program support for the TRIDENT II Submarine Ballistic Missile Program across multiple SSP offices including technical assessments, future studies, arms control treaty support, research and development initiatives, risk assessment, and program integration.

The SOW outlines 60 Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) for the base year FY2026 with identical CLIN structures for three option years through FY2029. Key requirements include support for the W93/Mk7 program, Nuclear Delivery Systems (NDS), Future Strategic Sea-Based Warhead (FSSW), Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission oversight, comprehensive assessment process digitization, missile and reentry system engineering, Strategic Deterrent Industrial Base support, and technical studies for OPNAV N97 and OSD Nuclear Matters. The contract will use Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Level of Effort (CPFF-LOE) pricing for technical work CLINs with associated cost-reimbursable ODC CLINs. Many tasks require access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) including JWICS systems. The work involves both Operations & Maintenance Navy (O&MN), Research & Development (R&D), and Weapons Procurement Navy (WPN) funding.
