1.1 TITLE: Kulicke & Soffa (KnS) Wire Bonder Training & PMs

1.2 APPLICABILITY: This statement of work applies to the advance training needed for wire bonding and

Preventive Maintenance (PM) needed for the RAPID Pro Ball Bonder. The Wire Bonder is the only way to create connectivity between the die and package at DMEA.

1.3 BACKGROUND: The RAPID Pro Ball Bonder needs follow-on advance training with new package types like plastics that have a small footprint. Training in profile development and replacing P-Parts/boats is needed to improve and maintain DMEA’s capability to successfully bond a variety of packages. Also, the

RAPID Pro Ball Bonder needs PMs to be completed.

1.4 PURPOSE: Advance Training is needed to complete a variety of Microcircuit Assembly (MCA) projects within DMEA. The Wire Bonding capability is the only route to complete the assembly of packages and KnS

Training is critical to DMEA’s success in MCA. The PMs are needed to keep equipment 100% operational for the next few years.
