About this file

This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a service and maintenance contract supporting the FEI Helios NanoLab 660 beam tool at the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA).

DMEA requires FEI Company (the original manufacturer) to provide software updates, equipment maintenance, and replacement consumable parts for the Helios NanoLab 660 (Serial No. 9922806) located at DMEA's McClellan, California facility (Building 1, Room 134). The contract must commence before the expiration of the current service contract (HQ0727-21-C-0007) to prevent maintenance gaps. The procurement includes one base year and four option years. Key service requirements include: at least one preventative maintenance visit annually with all travel costs included; unlimited on-site service visits including labor, living expenses, and travel to repair malfunctions and return the tool to original equipment manufacturer specifications; replacement of hardware components at no additional cost to DMEA; delivery of latest software and operating system updates on CD prior to scheduled installation visits; and remote technical support via email and telephone Monday through Friday, 0900-1600 Pacific Time, excluding federal holidays, with 24-hour response times. FEI must deliver consumables within three business days of order unless otherwise approved. Following each on-site visit, FEI must submit a maintenance service report (CDRL A001) in Adobe PDF or Microsoft Word format within two business days, including a summary of completed work, current equipment status, and next steps. Reports shall be distributed electronically to Jamesson Kaupanger (Project Engineer, DMEA/MEBC) and Michael Hallock (Contracting Officer, DMEA/MEEC).
