About this file
This cost proposal document supports Invitation for Bid (IFB) 26-0029 issued by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for Asian Citrus Psyllid treatment services in Fresno County. The contract encompasses pesticide application services for three consecutive years: Year One (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027), Year Two (July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2028), and Year Three (July 1, 2028 – June 30, 2029), with the second and third years designated as renewal options. The primary pesticides to be applied include Merit 2F (EPA #432-1312), Tempo SC Ultra (EPA #432-1363), and CoreTect™ (EPA #432-1457), with potential use of additional pesticides at CDFA's discretion. The contractor must provide both foliar and soil application capabilities for various pests and maintain stand-by availability of pesticide application equipment, specialized equipment for tall tree access, materials, and personnel to ensure immediate resource availability.
Bidders are required to submit unit pricing for each pesticide product (in ounces for Merit 2F and Tempo SC Ultra, and in tablets for CoreTect™) and establish a fixed cost per gallon for all pesticide applications that encompasses mixing, loading, and application in accordance with California Department of Pesticide Regulation requirements. All costs must be inclusive of labor, equipment, parts, devices, materials, tools, licenses, permits, supervision, inspection, insurance, transportation, travel, and per diem expenses. Bidders must provide a dollar amount for every line item; blank cells may result in bid rejection, and zero-dollar submissions will be interpreted as services provided at no cost to the State. No modifications, additions, or company quotes are permitted after bid submission, and any alterations will result in bid rejection.
