About this file
This is a questionnaire appendix document related to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) Samish River Unit Tree and Shrub Planting Project, an RFQQ (Request for Qualifications and Quote) solicitation. The project seeks qualified firms and individuals to establish native trees, shrubs, and willow whips in designated planting areas to meet Wildlife Restoration Program (WRP) easement objectives and restore the site to native conditions. Contractors are responsible for procuring and supplying all specified native plant materials from local nurseries. The questionnaire serves as an evaluation tool to assess bidder qualifications, experience, and capability to successfully execute the native planting project scope of work.
The questionnaire appendix functions as a qualification and selection mechanism for WDFW to evaluate contractor suitability prior to award. This document likely contains standardized questions addressing bidder experience with similar restoration projects, nursery sourcing capabilities, crew qualifications, equipment resources, timeline feasibility, and project management approach. The questionnaire format allows WDFW to establish baseline qualifications and compare prospective contractors' technical competency and fitness to perform the native tree and shrub installation work required under the WRP easement restoration objectives on the Samish River Unit property.
