About this file
The file is a Base Access Request (BAR) form for a pre-solicitation site visit related to a design-build contract for constructing two Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) Fixed Ground Station platforms at Royal Malaysian Air Force Bases in Kota Samarahan and Labuan, Malaysia. The project, valued between US$500,000 and US$1,000,000, involves engineering design, fabrication, installation, and integration of mounting panels/platforms that comply with local and international building codes.
Contractors must submit a Base Access Request by May 16, 2025, at 11:00 am Thailand Time to the Site Access Coordinator. Each company is limited to four personnel (two primary and two alternates), with only two participants plus one driver and one vehicle allowed to attend the Pre-Proposal Site Visit (PPSV) tentatively scheduled for June 2025. Strict requirements include submitting a personnel roster in Excel, combining all participant IDs into a single, bookmarked PDF, and providing evidence of active SAM registration. The project is being managed by the Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command, with site access strictly controlled by host nation security requirements.
