About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Award a Single Source Requirement for a Chemistry/Immunoassay Analyzer. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) intends to award a single source contract to BECKMAN COULTER, Inc. under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), which allows for a non-competitive procurement when only one responsible source can satisfy agency requirements.
The proposed contract is a firm fixed price service contract with an anticipated performance period of eight months from 4 October 2025 to 3 June 2026. Market research has been conducted to support the single source determination, and a Justification and Approval (J&A) Single Source Justification document is attached for additional details. The government emphasizes that this notice is not a request for competitive proposals and will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparing responses. The decision to potentially compete the contract remains solely at the government's discretion.
