About this file
This document is a Darfur Contracting Act Certification form from the California Department of General Services (DGS) for Solicitation Number 25BS0010. The form applies to companies that have conducted business activities outside the United States within the previous three years and are seeking to bid on or submit a proposal for a State of California contract. Companies must certify that they are either a) not a scrutinized company, or b) a scrutinized company that has obtained written permission from the Department of General Services to submit a proposal.
The form provides two options for certification: Option #1 requires companies with international business activities to certify under penalty of perjury that they are not a scrutinized company, and Option #2 allows scrutinized companies to submit a bid if they have received written permission from DGS on a case-by-case basis. Companies that have not conducted business outside the United States in the past three years are not required to complete the form. The document is designed to ensure compliance with Public Contract Code Sections 10475-10481 and provides spaces for companies to enter their vendor name, Federal ID Number, authorized signature, and other relevant information.
