About this file

This is Amendment Three to ITB 2525N093 issued by the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) for the Yukon River Bridge Redecking project. The amendment provides answers to bidder questions and must be signed and returned with bids by March 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM Alaska Time. The document clarifies that a 250ft x 75ft secured storage area (expandable if needed) will be provided at the DOT Seven Mile camp maintenance yard, along with adequate offloading space to accommodate trailers and equipment like zoom booms, skid steers, or dozers.

The amendment outlines key operational details including that suppliers must coordinate with Maintenance and Operations staff for site access, and specifies that while no formal delivery sign-off is required, DOT&PF staff will be available to show suppliers the unloading/storage areas and inspect materials upon arrival. Project contacts are provided, including Jason Sakalaskas (Head Maintenance Chief), Jeff Russell (Maintenance Superintendent), and Guan Griffin (Construction Project Manager). The amendment notes that materials can be rejected at any point if they fail to meet ITB specifications or are damaged during transport/unloading.
