About this file

This is Amendment One to ITB 2525N093 issued by the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Statewide Contracting & Procurement, for the Yukon River Bridge Redecking project. The amendment, dated March 3, 2025, modifies specifications for dunnage material requirements, changing from a minimum 3.5" height requirement to a new requirement of minimum 3" and maximum 4" height for wood dunnage that must be banded to the bottom of units. Bids are due March 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM Alaska Time, and this amendment must be signed and returned with the bid to be considered responsive.

The amendment also clarifies through Q&A that bidders are responsible for providing their own unloading equipment and performing unloading operations, as no loader with forks will be provided by the state. It confirms that the specified dunnage heights (3"-4") are sufficient for required storage and keeping wood off the ground. The amendment is signed by Procurement Specialist Adam Tolles and marked as a mandatory return document that must be acknowledged by vendors with their bid submissions.
