About this file
This document is Addendum One for Kenosha County's Request for Bid (RFB) #2515 for the Kenosha County Center DPW Elevator Repair project. The addendum provides clarification on two key points: the estimated project budget is $75,000, and the county confirms the elevator jack will be specified for the current 8' rise instead of the originally planned 14' 2" additional travel distance. The county explicitly states they will never build an addition on that side of the building, thus approving the shorter jack specification. The addendum includes revised drawings for the DPW elevator repair, which show the correct travel distance of 8'-0" from the lower level to the upper level.
The document appears to be part of a larger bid process for an elevator repair project, with a focus on technical specifications and precise measurements. The addendum serves to provide official confirmation and documentation of design modifications, ensuring bidders have the most current information for their proposals. By releasing this addendum, Kenosha County is maintaining transparency in the procurement process and providing clear guidance to potential contractors about the specific requirements of the elevator repair project.

RFB #2515 Addendum One Page 1 of 1
Yes.
Questions & Answers:
Q1. What is the estimated budget?
A. The estimated budget is $75,000.
Q2. The original jack was speced to have another 14' 2" of travel to it for future additions. So, what that means is that the jack cylinder goes a lot farther in the ground than expected. So, does the county want to retain that 14' 2" of additional jack for future rise or should we spec the new jack for the current 8' of rise? The future rise is doable but if there is no need for it.
A. We will never build an addition on that side of the building. The County is OK with the proposed 8’ jack.
