About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 for the City of Sebastian's solicitation 25-08-QT for Rental of Portable Restrooms, dated December 17, 2024. The addendum addresses three specific questions from potential contractors, clarifying details about the annual quote for portable restroom rentals. The city confirmed that waste barrels will be available for debris disposal, noted that the event calendar is fluid with approximately 12 event days per year, and reiterated the insurance requirements for contractors. The city requires general liability, automobile liability, and worker's compensation insurance for the duration of the contract, with no event-specific insurance modifications allowed.

The addendum includes a mandatory acknowledgment form that contractors must complete and return with their solicitation submittal, indicating their understanding and acceptance of the addendum's terms. No changes were made to the original bid terms, conditions, or specifications. The document is part of the City of Sebastian's Centennial Celebration procurement process, with the Procurement Division managing the solicitation from their office located at 1225 Main Street in Sebastian, Florida.

ADDENDUM NO. 1

December 17, 2024

25-08-QT

SECTION I: CLARIFICATIONS

• N/A

SECTION II: QUESTIONS

1. Question 1: Will the city have waste barrels around to allow our techs to dispose of debris or trash that way?

Answer: Yes

2. Question 2: Is there a way to get a calendar of the event days? Is there an average day of events?

Answer: The Calendar is fluid, but there are typically 12 event days per year.

3. Question 3: 1.1.6 – we are a large business with large deductibles, we can disclose to the city, but we will not procure project-specific insurance in the event of City rejection. This shall not be cause for termination for default.

Answer: The City requires the contractor to hold general liability, automobile liability, and worker’s compensation insurance based on the Insurance

Requirements in Appendix A for the duration of the contract. The insurance is not event-specific. If these requirements cannot be met, the contract will be terminated.
