The agreement covers maintenance, repair, and replacement services for the district's water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and lift stations, including underground utility work, general contracting, utility electrical services, and specialty contracting. Services encompass construction supervision, new construction of water/sewer mains, lift stations, manholes, and wells, renovations, retrofits, demolition, project scheduling, cost estimation, and emergency and non-emergency repairs. The compensation structure allows the School Board to pay the contractor for services rendered, with invoicing requirements that mandate detailed monthly submissions including task descriptions, time spent, personnel involved, and hourly rates. The agreement includes specific provisions for warranty (one year for service work, ten years for manhole and lift station coating), emergency operations, and equipment repairs. Contractors must demonstrate a minimum of three years of business experience, have fully licensed personnel with at least two years of related experience, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations. The contract also includes robust requirements for insurance, with minimum comprehensive general liability coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence, automobile liability coverage, and workers' compensation insurance. Additional requirements include E-Verify compliance, background investigations, and adherence to public records retention laws.
