About this file
This document is an Addendum for Bid #25-07, which was issued by the Henry County Board of Commissioners for the purchase and installation of forty-five (45) C-V2X Onboard Units. The successful vendor will be responsible for the provision, delivery, and installation of the C-V2X Onboard Units, as well as the development and customization of the applications for the units. The bid response is due by August 22, 2024, at 3:00 PM local time, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The addendum provides clarification on various aspects of the project, including the responsibilities of the awarded vendor, the availability of vehicles for installation, the power source for the units, and the timeline for installation.
The addendum also states that Henry County is seeking vendor expertise in the technical aspects of the C-V2X Onboard Units, as the county has not previously purchased or installed such equipment. The county is open to considering portable units and is relying on vendor recommendations for features and requirements, such as the need for a human-machine interface (HMI). The project is funded through a SMART grant received by the county, and the county has an 18-month hard deadline to complete the installation.
