This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) for the G640 Concrete Landscape Beds project at Camp Lejeune, specifically located at Camp Geiger, Building 640 (Mess Hall). The project requires removing four existing landscape beds around the building, disposing of all vegetation and debris, and filling the areas with concrete. The landscape beds consist of two front beds approximately 15' x 55' and two side beds approximately 15' x 26'.

Key specifications include: removing all existing materials to a depth of 12 inches, grading and compacting gravel in 6-inch lifts at 95% compaction, pouring 4-inch thick concrete with a minimum 3,000-PSI strength, creating manual hand tool control joints spaced evenly (not exceeding 15 feet), and doweling the new slab to the existing slab. The project is managed by the Public Works Department, with James Muston as the Government Project Manager, and requires coordination with the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) Office. The contractor must schedule work with Terry Castleberry and protect existing glass walls and entry doors during construction.
