3. Question: No electrical lighting on floors is shown to be removed but I would assume they are considered part of the lay in ceiling to be removed. Answer: Lighting is to be removed. See electrical demo notes.

4. Question: The mezzanine has sub floor that is coming up from rain damage are we to replace?

Answer: Yes.

5. Question: The 4 hot windows which are to be removed with asbestos abatement will they need to be replaced and if so with what (specs)? Answer: These should be framed in and closed and sealed so that rain does not get in building.

6. Question: Will Elevators be operable? Answer: No.

7. Question: What is to be included in the required Engineering Survey, as noted in specifications 3.1 D?

Answer: 3.1 D in both our spec sections refer to contractor walk-throughs, not engineering reports.

8. Question: Will bid date still be 30 Aug? Answer: The bid opening date has been changed to September 13, 2024 at 2:30 pm.

9. Question: Can you clarify intent for scope of work with Alternates 4-6? Answer: See exterior work shown on sheets A4.1 and A4.2.

10. Question: Spec. Sections 028213 and 028303 reference a Report dated March 12, 2019. Is this Report available? Answer: See link for added document “25-002 Environmental Summary”.

12. Question: The Scope of Work included in the Bid Documents list addresses as 126 North Washington, 132 Pine and 128 Pine, whereas I think 128 should have been 138. It appears 138 is the 2-story structure and 132 is the single-story structure. Technically, it appears we are including 132, 134 & 136 as 132 and then 138. Answer: The number “128” in this section is a typo and should read “138”. The draw ings do not clearly depict locations for 132 and 138.

13. Question: The CHA abatement drawings include Notes 1-3 at exterior elevations, so we assume these existing joints are asbestos related. We ask because the architectural drawings include the same Notes 1-3. Answer: On the CHA draw ings, notes 1-3 should have been removed.
